Hi there,

There are a few ways screw post books can be made. I've illustrated a couple of basic methods as a guide for you. The first one has the screws visible from the outside cover of the book. The second one, the screws are only visible in the inside cover. The way that the boards are made up for each method is also shown. The gaps between the two when you cover them with paper/cloth should only be large enough to allow the finished covers to close comfortably.

Hope this is helpful. Otherwise let me know if I've just confused you!

Cheers!

Also, the parts you need for these books can be found relatively easily in 'scrap-booking' supply stores, craft stores etc (such as spotlight). You can also get them in Zeta Florence if you're in Melbourne. I think there's a link to them in the 'supplies' section of the forums (otherwise, you'll find them easily enough with a google search!).

Cheers,

Scott.
